Making the Syrup: Put the listed ingredients in a pot, bring to a simmer, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, turn off the heat allowing it to reach room temperature fully. Pour to a clean bottle, close it and store chilled, it will last for about one month.
To make Batch Mix: Combine all the liquids into a sizeable container, let it rest for 60 minutes, then pass it through preferably using cheesecloth, so it's fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml from the batch mix into a cocktail shaker containing ice, gently stirring carefully for a minute to cool it down. Pour into an frosted cocktail glass or similar, garnish with the cranberries and finish with a light spray of the essential oil over the top.
